The event began with the opening speech of NÖROM's center director Prof. Dr. Hayrunnisa Bolay Belen.
Prof. Dr. Hayrunnisa Bolay Belen drew attention to the scientific publications that NÖROM has made to date and stated that the center has become an important reference point in the field of headache. She also emphasized NÖROM's strong position in the academic field by mentioning the center's studies that are frequently cited in the scientific literature.
Prof. Dr. Hayrunnisa Bolay Belen introduced the studies carried out in the field of neuroscience and neurotechnology by detailing NÖROM's mission and vision. The projects carried out by NÖROM, which focuses particularly on multidisciplinary research on headache, within the framework of national and international collaboration were emphasized.
Assoc. Prof. Ersin Kasım Ulusoy presented his scientific study on trigeminal neuralgia in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
Specialist Dr. Serhat Akın attracted the attention of the participants with his case presentations and provided an interactive experience.
In addition to scientific sharing, innovative approaches to headache were discussed throughout the event and new perspectives were presented to the participants.
