Multimodal Functional Brain Imaging Laboratory

The aim of the Multimodal Functional Brain Imaging Laboratory is to investigate the relationships between neural and hemodynamic parameters underlying human cognitive functions by combining different brain imaging methods, especially functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) and Electroencephalography (EEG). The lab aims to introduce innovative approaches in data collection and analysis in the field of multimodal imaging. In recent years, with the use of wireless and portable systems, studies have been conducted not only in clinical research but also in the fields of neuroergonomics and human factors. In our laboratory, brain imaging technologies can be used simultaneously with virtual reality and physiological measurement devices.
