NEUROROBOTICS AND NEUROREHABILITATION

The Neurorobotics and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory is a research unit that combines robotic technologies with neuroscientific approaches to repair motor deficits and maximize functional recovery resulting from neurological disorders.

The laboratory investigates the processes of regaining movement control after nervous system injury through neurobiomechanical and neurophysiological perspectives.

Advanced robotic rehabilitation systems supporting upper and lower limb functions are utilized within our unit. These systems facilitate the triggering of cortical plasticity by supporting motor learning processes with intensive, repeatable, and precisely measurable tasks.

The laboratory's primary objective is to develop individualized neurorehabilitation protocols via robotic assistants and to evaluate the impact of these devices on the reorganization of motor networks using scientific methodologies.
