NÖROM Center

The “NÖROM Project” numbered 2019K12-149088, which led to the establishment of the center and supported by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Strategy and Budget Directorate, was included in the Investment Program with the Presidential “Approval” dated 21.11.2019 and numbered 24776198-903.02-135 and is still ongoing.

NÖROM is the first and pioneering Joint UY-GAR and was established with the Higher Education Council of Türkiye (YÖK) law amendment dated April 17, 2020, which allows three universities to establish a joint center. (Law No. 7243, Additional Article 43)

On June 19, 2020, the “Regulation on Joint Application and Research Centers in Higher Education Institutions” was issued, and on December 28, 2020 NÖROM joint UY-GAR was published in the official gazette and established.
