Molecular Neuroscience

The Molecular Neuroscience Laboratory is an advanced research unit investigating the development, cellular functioning, and disease pathologies of the nervous system at the molecular, genetic, and epigenetic levels. In our unit, neuronal functions are analyzed at the cellular level utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as cell culture, gene expression analysis, protein profiling, and molecular cloning. Our primary objective is to elucidate the underlying mechanisms of neurodegenerative, neuropsychiatric, and neurodevelopmental disorders through cellular and molecular networks, identify potential biomarkers, and develop novel therapeutic targets.
