Virtual Reality

The Virtual Reality Laboratory is a research and application unit providing an advanced digital simulation infrastructure for neuroscientific research, game development processes, and kinematic analysis. Equipped with high-performance graphical workstations, the laboratory possesses the full hardware suite required for the design and real-time management of complex virtual environments. Our inventory includes cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) headsets such as Meta Quest 3 and HTC Vive Pro 2, as well as the Microsoft HoloLens 2, which is recognized as the industry standard for Augmented Reality (AR) research.

The technical capacity of the laboratory extends beyond visual simulation to include precise tools for motion analysis. The four Vive Trackers within our unit enable millimeter-accurate tracking of objects and body movements, ensuring the seamless integration of virtual interactions with physical reality. Designed as a shared collaborative platform, our laboratory offers a comprehensive ecosystem for researchers aiming to develop content via game engines, establish VR-based rehabilitation protocols, or conduct studies on digital twin scenarios.
