Our center's first R&D meeting of the NÖROM 2024-2025 academic year was held under the moderation of Prof. Dr. Güvem GÜMÜŞ AKAY and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim AYDIN ​​SON. The keynote speaker of the meeting, which took place in two sessions, Prof. Dr. Güvem Gümüş AKAY introduced the NÖROM Cell Culture Infrastructure, of which she is responsible, and touched on her own research fields under the title of "What can be done with the Genes to Function Approach?"

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim Aydın SON introduced the NÖROM Molecular Neuroscience Infrastructure and talked about Biomarker discovery studies.

Res. Asst. Duygu Bandırmalı touched on her studies on "Investigation of Mir-135a-5p as a Candidate Molecule in Autism Spectrum Disorder".

In the second session, Dr. Emilia EKENEL(supported by YÖK-DOSAP), talked about the findings she obtained under the title of “Investigation of the Effect of Spock-1 Protein Associated with Alzheimer's Disease on Apoptosis”.

After Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim AYDIN ​​SON's presentation titled “TÜBİTAK-TRUBA &NORÖM HPCS Infrastructure: Computational Neuroscience Applications”, Res. Asst. Cahit BURDUROĞLU gave a practical information about accessing the NÖROM-TRUBA infrastructure and the meeting ended.
