Congress Dates 26-28 November 2025 Venue NÖROM, Gazi University Main Campus Organized by Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Center of Excellence (NÖROM) - Joint Application and Research Center, and the Turkish Brain Research and Neurosciences Society (TÜBAS) Important Dates Deadline for abstract submission: 28 October 2025 Language of the Congress The official language of the congress is English. Abstracts and full-text papers will be published in English in the Gazi Medical Journal. Topics The main focus of the congress is on mitochondria and energy pathways. Authors are requested to align their proposed oral or poster presentations with one of the following thematic categories: Important Notice: All submitted abstracts will undergo evaluation by the Scientific Committee. Acceptance will be determined based on this review process. Our congress is recognized as an international congress in accordance with the criteria established by the Interuniversity Board (ÜAK). In this regard, it is in compliance with Subparagraph (b) under the heading “Scientific Meetings” of the ÜAK Criteria for Associate Professorship Applications. Therefore, participation and presentations will be considered valid within the scope of associate professorship applications and will be included in the relevant academic promotion criteria. However, our congress is not eligible for the Academic Incentive Allowance. Consequently, while the papers and presentations delivered during the event will be acknowledged as academic contributions for the associate professorship process, they will not be taken into account in the evaluation of the Academic Incentive Allowance. ÖNEMLİ NOT Kongremiz, Üniversitelerarası Kurul (ÜAK) tarafından belirlenen kriterler çerçevesinde uluslararası kongre niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu kapsamda, kongremiz ÜAK Doçentlik Kriterleri’nin “Bilimsel Toplantı” başlığı altında yer alan (b) bendi ile uyumludur. Dolayısıyla, katılım ve sunumlar doçentlik başvurularında geçerli olacak şekilde değerlendirilmekte ve ilgili akademik yükseltme kriterlerine dahil edilmektedir.
