Autism Spectrum Disorders and Vagal Nerve Stimulation

Nörogene-1

The research into the effects of Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) on neurodevelopmental, neurological, and psychiatric disorders is gaining increasing importance. In the study group, the impact of Transcutaneous Vagal Nerve Stimulation on behavioral aspects, neuroinflammation, neurodevelopmental markers, and changes in the brain-gut axis are being investigated in experimental models of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

These scientific studies are supported by BAP (Scientific Research Projects) and TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) projects.
