Within the scope of the NÖROnoM seminar series, the lecture titled “Distinctive Activation Patterns of the Higher Visual System in the Migraine Brain” was held on May 13, 2026, at the NÖROM Building.
Prof. Hayrunnisa Bolay Belen presented current research findings on the functioning of the higher visual system in the migraine brain and the distinctive activation patterns associated with these processes. The seminar addressed the relationships between visual processing mechanisms, migraine pathophysiology, and multisensory processes from both experimental and clinical perspectives.
The event attracted strong interest from academics, researchers, and students. In particular, the Q&A session was highly interactive and informative, fostering a productive scientific discussion among participants from diverse disciplines.
With this seminar, the 2025–2026 academic year program of the NÖROnoM seminar series has been completed. Other scientific activities and research initiatives conducted within NÖROM will continue in the upcoming period.
