Joint Academic Studies and Cooperation Opportunities Addressed within the Scope of the Visit

The Neuroscience and Neurotechnology Center of Excellence Joint Application and Research Center (NÖROM) of our university continues to strengthen its international academic relations and collaborations. In this context, a high-level Syrian delegation headed by Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Syria, visited NÖROM.

During the visit, our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen, and our Deputy Center Director Prof. Dr. Meltem Bahçelioğlu came together with the guest delegation.

Research Infrastructure and Joint Projects Examined

At the meeting held, potential academic and scientific cooperation opportunities in areas such as education, research, staff, and student exchange were discussed in detail. Following the meeting, the delegation toured NÖROM's academic units and received on-site information about the center's advanced research infrastructure and ongoing studies.

The visit concluded after mutual exchanges of ideas and laboratory inspections. This meaningful meeting is expected to be an important step toward the development of international academic relations and the implementation of joint research activities in the future.
