This month’s invited speaker was Assoc. Prof. Rezzak Yılmaz from the Department of Neurology, Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. In his talk, Assoc. Prof. Yılmaz presented recent findings on the environmental, metabolic, and genetic risk factors contributing to Parkinson’s disease in Türkiye, and discussed emerging research directions in the field. The seminar attracted interest from researchers, graduate students, and clinicians. During the Q&A session, participants engaged in a productive discussion on new perspectives and methodological approaches to studying Parkinson’s disease.
