During the visit, Prof. Dr. Serhat KARYEYEN, Chair of the NÖROM Board of Directors and Deputy Rector of Gazi University, was accompanied by our Center Director, Prof. Dr. Hayrunnisa BOLAY BELEN, and our Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Meltem BAHÇELİOĞLU, to discuss NÖROM’s research infrastructure, ongoing projects, and interdisciplinary areas of work. In the center’s laboratories and experimental research units, Prof. Dr. Ümit KERVAN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat SARĞIN closely examined the center’s scientific capacity and met with Prof. Dr. Güvem GÜMÜŞ AKAY, Prof. Dr. Canan ULUOĞLU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeşim AYDIN SON, Prof. Dr. Hacı Hulusi KAFALIGÖNÜL, and Dr. Hasan Onur KELEŞ, as well as other researchers.

During the visit, potential future joint projects, academic collaborations, and support mechanisms between NÖROM and TÜSEB were discussed. In the discussions, strategic collaboration opportunities aimed at strengthening the national research potential in the field of neuroscience were evaluated.
